Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are the most abundant form of genomic polymorphism and is widely used in population genetics research. Here, the high-throughput sequencing is used to test the genome-level diversity, population structure, and relationships apricots, which are important for the conservation of germplasm and molecular breeding. Restriction-site associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq) adopted to sequence 168 Prunus spp. accession distributed in five groups of ecology, including 74 accessions of cultivated apricots L. and 94 accessions of wild apricot (P. armeniaca L. and Prunus sibirica L.), which produced high-quality SNP 417 961.
We use the cluster, genetic structure, and principal component analysis to examine the genetic diversity and genetic relationship of 168 accessions. The Dzhungar-Ili accession ecology group showed the highest genetic diversity in terms of the number of private alleles, heterozygosity was observed, and the nucleotide diversity. We speculate that Central Asia domesticated accession ecological groups of Dzhungar-Ili accession ecological groups. Population structure and gene flow of European and North China’s accession ecological groups suggest genetic backgrounds P. sibirica.
We argue that the two groups should be considered a hybrid herd linked to P. sibirica by continuous gene flow and broad. P. armeniaca from Northwest China (Ili Valley), then spread throughout Central Asia and spread to Europe. In addition, the selective sweep signature in P. armeniaca during the domestication of wild apricot cultivated, combined with differentially expressed genes, traits underlying different fruits, including sugar, aroma, organic acids, and carotenoids. This study provides substantive and valuable source genome will significantly advance apricot improvement and effective utilization.

Heterogeneity in cell populations pose a significant challenge to understand the complex process of cell biology. Analysis of cells at the single cell level, especially single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), has made it possible for cellular heterogeneity and access biological information obtained comprehensively dissected from bulk analysis. The latest efforts have combined scRNA-seq profiles genomic or proteomic data, and demonstrate the added value in describing the complex cellular heterogeneity than transcriptome measurements only.
With increasing demand for scRNA-seq for biomedical and clinical applications, there is a strong need for timely and comprehensive review on scRNA-seq technology and their potential biomedical applications. In this review, we first discuss the latest state of development by detailing each scRNA-seq technology, including both conventional and microfluidic technologies. We then summarize the advantages and limitations of them along with their biomedical applications. Efforts transcriptome profiles with a data integrating proteomic and genomic highly multiplexed thorough review with results showing the integrated data to be more informative than the transcriptome data only.
